Cuticular morphology of leaves of three genera of Taxodiaceae viz.Sequoia sempervirens Endl., Taiwania cryptomeriodes Hayata and Taxodium distichumRich., has been investigated and the consistency of these characters has been determined .The taxonomic importance of various anatomical and epidermal features in the family Taxodiaceae is discussed in detail in the present paper.
